A couple of weeks ago a study showed that New Jersey is the #1 state in the country that people leave. New Jersey just came in first again and again in a category that is not good for New Jerseyans. Yesterday NJ 101.5 radio reported on an ATTOM Data Solutions study showing New Jersey’s rate of foreclosure was the highest among all 50 states and D.C. in 2018.

NJ Governor Murphy’s social media feeds have been very active touting his first year “accomplishments”.
While New Jersey Governor Murphy and his family are spending their Christmas vacation in Tanzania his Facebook and Twitter feeds were very active Thursday. Murphy’s accounts sent out a series of posts touting his first year “accomplishments”. I don’t believe most New Jerseyans consider any part of Murphy’s agenda “accomplishments”. Booker has said “Having a felony on your record is a lifetime sentence. You can’t get pell grants, you can’t get food stamps, you can’t get business licenses, you can’t get jobs. You have a lifetime sentence. This system is toxic in every way”. Booker appears to support reducing sentencing guidelines and hiding criminal records from potential employers. Perhaps Mr. Spartacus should focus on preventing crime not making our workplaces and streets less safe by giving criminals a pass.
