When will Governor Murphy put New Jersey’s citizens first?

Days after telling reporters that New Jersey will have to cut essential services to its citizens if the state does not receive financial aid from the federal government Governor Murphy has indicated that he is “open-minded to the $600 a week” for illegal immigrants who have lost wages and cannot collect unemployment benefits.  Just days before Murphy told the media “We will just cut, cut, cut and cut. We won’t go bankrupt but we will leave our citizens in the lurch. At their most profound hour of need we will leave people on the beach alone helpless”.  Why is it that Governor Murphy is willing to leave the tax paying legal New Jersey citizens who elected him “on the beach alone” but not those who are here illegally?

The Informed Conservative returns.

Over the past couple of months you may have noticed that The Informed Conservative  has not been active with the exception of a coupe of guest articles.  I have not felt that it was right to focus on politics while the COVID-19 pandemic is going on, while people are sick and dying, while people are suffering and while the economy has been at a standstill.  This has been a time for us all to come together as one America and support one another.  Democrats clearly disagree.

Guest blog: Who is Rikin Mehta?

Guest blog by John Supino.

Why hasn’t anyone vetted Rikin Mehta for the Senate race?  His speeches and stated positions are completely in opposition to his reality, and NOBODY is asking questions.  Why?  What don’t they want to know? His speeches drone on endlessly about his “three little gentlemen” (good god if I hear that line one more time, I’ll Arkancide myself) and his sister who is a Pediatrician.  Time wasters so he doesn’t have to talk about policy.  His family successes and kids don’t get policy passed. He never delves into any policy position only offers shallow platitudes.

Every New Jerseyan should be offended by Governor Murphy politicizing his cancer diagnosis.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy took to social media on Saturday to announce that he has a tumor on his kidney saying “Over 50,000 New Jerseyans will hear the worlds “You have cancer”.  Having been diagnosed with bladder cancer in December I was able to put political differences aside and sympathize with Murphy – until I realized he was politicizing his cancer diagnosis and making his announcement a commercial for the Affordable Healthcare Act.

Guest Blog: The Corrupt Nominating Process of NJ County Conventions. Part Two.

Guest blog by John Supino.

It’s time to give the people a voice in the Republican primaries.

In my previous article, you have seen my disgust with the nominating system used by some the Republican party’s county commissions. A system built by insiders, for insiders.  Anyone can complain, but it’s incumbent upon those who do, to also offer solutions.  So I’ve stated the problem, now let’s discuss the actions that should be taken, and the resulting resolutions.

Guest Blog: The Corrupt Nominating Process of NJ County Conventions. Part One.

Guest blog by John Supino.

I don’t know if the average NJ Republican understands how the Republican primary system works inside the County Committee System. I didn’t, until having witnessed it firsthand.  I always wondered how we, Republicans, keep getting left leaning liberal RINO Republicans like Hugin to run, and kept losing.  Now I understand.  The County Committees of NJ have the ability to impose their will on the public.  From what I have seen so far, the system is designed that about 100 people greatly influence who wins the state primary, and their considerations have little to do with the desires of the voting public.

Setting the record straight. I represent no campaign.

I’d like to make a statement in reference to Saturday’s blog post.  Camden County GOP Executive Director Tom Crone is apparently disturbed by my criticizing the Camden County GOP giving the line to Rik Mehta in the 2020 U.S. Senate race.   Rather than defend “his candidate” (his words) he has resorted to personal attacks as Tom does.   Rather than tell voters why we should join the Camden County GOP in supporting Mehta he has resorted to questioning my motivation and credibility.  Tom got on the radio yesterday and bashed the Informed Conservative Blog – an endeavor that months ago he asked me to let him be a part of.

Mehta the front runner? Only if Republicans want Cory Booker to hold the seat.

The Camden County Republican Committee announced this week that it had given the line to U.S. Senate candidate Rik Mehta.  Camden County joined  3 of New Jersey’s 21 counties in giving Mehta the line.  In its press release the Camden County GOP called Mehta an “excellent U.S. Senate candidate ” and said he “has a keen grasp of the issues voters care about”.   Let’s not forget the Camden County GOP also endorsed Vincent Squire for Camden County Freeholder in 2018 before later disavowing him.

Is this the crisis we sent Cory Booker to Washington DC to focus on?

To say that our nation is in a Democrat induced crisis is an understatement.  The House is focused on impeaching President Trump because they know they cannot beat him at the polls in 2020.  Healthcare costs continue to skyrocket thanks to the Affordable Care Act.  We continue to have an emergency at our southern border.  America is in an opioid crisis.  Our nation is in a moral decline.  Americans are divided more than ever before thanks to radical Liberalism.  President Trump is working hard for America despite having to fight for the future of our nation as Democrats hold impeachment hearings.  Our economy and job market are breaking records.  America has it’s testicular fortitude back on the world stage.  But what is U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D, NJ) focused on?
