The owners of Atilis Gym Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court For The District Of New Jersey on Tuesday against New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal, State Police Superintendent Patrick Callahan and Commissioner of the Department of Health Judith Persichilli. The suit filed by The Mermigis Law Group claims Muprhy’s order “bestows unbridled authority” to Callahan for enforcing emergency restrictions. It also said of the essential businesses allowed to remain open that “the classification was not reasonable or rational and was arbitrary and random without any data and therefore a denial of due process”. The suit quotes Murphy’s recent claim “the Bill of Rights is above my pay grade. I wasn’t thinking about the Bill of Rights when we did this”. A copy of the complaint can be found here.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tricia Flanagan has challenged her opponents to a debate. As of this writing neither Mehta, Singh or Rivera have accepted (I realize Anagnos is also in the race but I don’t believe he’s a serious candidate). The NJGOP will not offer a platform for the candidates to debate. Is Tricia Flanagan the only U.S. Senate candidate who believes that New Jersey voters deserve a chance to compare candidates issue by issue? Why will New Jersey’s Republican political bosses not encourage the candidates to debate?

The owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr opened yesterday despite Governor Murphy’s overreaching lockdown order telling Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson they were “ready for the consequences”. After receiving a summons from local police and a threat from Governor Murphy owners Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti vowed the gym would remain open for the rest of the week saying they are standing up for what they believe is right. The opening of Atilis Gym drew a crowed of about 200 supporters who protested Murphy’s totalitarian executive order many wearing pro-Trump attire, waving American flags and carrying signs with messages such as “Stay poor vote Democrat” and “My freedom doesn’t end where your fear begins”.
On this episode of the Informed Conservative Podcast our guest was Republican candidate for Congress Tim Fazenbaker from Maryland’s 2nd Congressional District.
The latest Democrat $3 Trillion stimulus wish list includes $1 Trillion for state, local and tribal governments, another round of stimulus payments of up to $6,000 per household (INCLUDING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT HOUSEHOLDS!), and only $10 million for small businesses. The American people have had enough!
Republicans and Conservatives alike tend to cringe when media coverage makes it obvious that the Left is following the Rahm Emanuel directive to “never let a serious crisis go to waste.” Similarly, most of New Jersey cringed when Governor Phil Murphy referred to the collective population of New Jersey as “knuckleheads” the other day in a Facebook post. Here’s the problem: anyone that’s not Leftist in New Jersey needs to embrace both of those statements.
Days after telling reporters that New Jersey will have to cut essential services to its citizens if the state does not receive financial aid from the federal government Governor Murphy has indicated that he is “open-minded to the $600 a week” for illegal immigrants who have lost wages and cannot collect unemployment benefits. Just days before Murphy told the media “We will just cut, cut, cut and cut. We won’t go bankrupt but we will leave our citizens in the lurch. At their most profound hour of need we will leave people on the beach alone helpless”. Why is it that Governor Murphy is willing to leave the tax paying legal New Jersey citizens who elected him “on the beach alone” but not those who are here illegally?
