Where are Murphy, Menendez, Booker and other New Jersey Democrats in the case of Joe Giudice?

I am not a fan of the Real Housewives of New Jersey and probably would not know the name Joe Giudice if it were not for his legal issues.  What I do know that Guidice was set to be released from prison on March 14, 2019 but is being held on an immigration detainer as his appeal on his deportation order makes it’s way through the court system.  That appeal process could take up to a year.  This leaves me wondering why we have not heard from Murphy, Menendez, Booker or other New Jersey Democrats on the Joe Guidice case.  Guidice has been in the U.S. for 45-years and has a wife and children in New Jersey.  Murphy has allotted $2.1 million for the legal defense of illegal immigrants facing detention or deportation in New Jersey.  Why are New Jersey Democrats not stepping in to help Guidice?

Joe Giudice is an Italian citizen who was born in Saronno Italy and brought to Paterson New Jersey by his parents when he was one year old.  Guidice never became an American citizen despite being raised in New Jersey, getting married and raising his own four children here.  After being convicted of fraud in 2014 Giudice was ordered deported at the end of his 41-month prison sentence.

When Murphy announced back in November that he was allotting $2.1 million to the legal defense of illegal immigrants facing detention or deportation he said “families who came to New Jersey for a better life do not deserve to be torn apart by the federal government’s cruel and discriminatory policies”.  Both Menendez and Booker have criticized President Trump’s initiatives to fight illegal immigration.

It seems to me that the case of Joe Giudice is the model for Murphy, Menendez and Booker to step in but yet we’ve heard nothing.  Guidice as I said was brought to the U.S. by his parents as a child and has his own family in New Jersey.  He’s lived here for practically his entire life.  Giudice is being separated from his family while being held on an immigration detainer and will be further separated from his wife and four children if deported.  Are Murphy, Menendez and Booker ignoring Giudice’s case because he’s a middle class white male who does not fit the stereotype of the typical illegal immigrant?

I do not know Joe Giudice, I do not watch his wife’s television show and am a verbal opponent of New Jersey’s sanctuary rules and allotting tax payer funds to defend illegal immigrants.  However it’s typical that hypocritical Democrats have not stepped in on his behalf.
