Does anyone know the Vegas odds on which Democratic Governor will bankrupt the most businesses in their state? New Jersey Governor Murphy, New York Governor Cuomo and Pennsylvania Governor Wolf seem to be competing to see how many jobs they can chase from their state. Continue reading “Not to be outdone by Murphy Pennsylvania Governor Wolf wants to ruin businesses in his state.”
Despite the government shutdown private sector employment increased by 213,000 jobs from December to January according to the January ADP National Employment Report. Wall Street economists had forecast an increase of 174,000. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 both reacted positively to the news. The Dow rose 1.77% while the S&P rose 1.56%.
It was a slow week for the blog as we prepared the new Informed Conservative Podcast. This week we covered Governor Murphy’s new 11.62% tax on short term rentals which is sure to have a negative impact on the Jersey Shore, Nancy Pelosi’s severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome and the liberal media’s biased reporting against President Trump.
Wikipedia defines media bias as the media systematically skewing reporting in a way that crosses standards of professional journalism. Have we seen worse examples of media bias towards a President in our lifetimes then the coverage of President Trump? That coverage has continued in the past 24-hours as President Trump acted like a strong leader should and made a (temporary) deal so 800,000 federal workers could get their paychecks.
I’ve suggested several times that Nancy Pelosi may be suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (which Psychology Today speculates may be a legitimate mental condition). I now believe that Pelosi is suffering from something much more serious and dangerous to the American people. It is time that Nancy Pelosi be expelled from the House of Representatives. Unfortunately that effort would have to come from the House Ethics Committee. Given that Democrats have a House majority it is not likely to happen.
Governor Phil Murphy can visit the beach whenever he likes from his home in Middletown without requiring accommodations. Obviously Jersey Shore property and business owners are not large Democratic campaign donors. Why then should Murphy focus only on residents leaving New Jersey when he can ensure tourists stop from coming too?
Last week the Informed Conservative covered NYC Mayor de Blasio wanting to end private control of property, Governor Murhy’s State of the State Address, Senator Menendez’s anger at Fox News for reporting that he was on the beach in Puerto Rico with a woman while the government shutdown continued, Investigative journalist Laura Loomer bringing illegal immigrants to Nancy Pelosi’s house seeking sanctuary, Alexandria Ocasio-Corte making a sexually charged comment during an interview, The View hosts challenging NYC Mayor de Blasio, New Jersey placing first again, Nancy Pelosi’s ridiculous solution to the crisis on our southern border, President Trump’s plan for border security and ending the government shutdown and Congressional Democrats showing they don’t care about border security, the government shutdown or the American people.
