The question remains: Is Pennsauken our town or their town?

When I recently expressed concern on the Positively Pennsauken Facebook page about Democratic Pennsauken Township Committee candidate DiBattista being an employee of the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority I was told by local Democrats that there was no connection between the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority and the Pennsauken Township Committee and was challenged to provide proof of a connection.  It didn’t take much research to find just one connection Democrats did not reveal in that conversation.

Below are three Pennsauken Township Committee Resolutions, signed by Township Clerk Padalino, appointing individuals to the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority.  You’ll notice they are dated 2017, 2016 and 2015.  Pennsauken Sewerage Authority Appointment 2

If it’s not bad enough that Bill Orth serves as the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority Executive Director while serving on Township Committee now the Democrats want you to elect Marco DiBattista who serves as the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority’s Treasurer and Office Manager to Pennsauken Township Committee.

That’s right.  The local Democrats want us to elect another member of the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority leadership team to Pennsauken Township Committee – the body that appoints members to the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority.  Let’s not forget that last January DiBattista was appointed to the Pennsauken Planning Board.

Are you seeing a pattern yet?

I am starting to ask myself every day and I hope that you will also.  Is Pennsauken our town or their town?
